| They are
twins and have passion for jewels, John and Alain Darbellay, creators of
Darbel du Bourg in the |
| beginning
of the eighties, travelled in several stone's producer countries in order
to bring back with |
| them the
amazing colors which will decorate their creations. |
| The line named Shangrila, inspired by
their travels in Central Asia, confers to the woman who wear it an |
| impression
of classicism, dissociated by the paved flexible diamond shapes. |
|
| The
Dynamic is often created without stones, gold launches out thus in
harmonious movements |
| underlining
the fingers of its holder. |
|
| The fluidity of the forms which
run in cascade or undulate like the snake, the mobility of the various |
| elements
of a jewel, or the dynamism of a movement are also the distinctive mark of
the two brothers. |
|
| During
each creation, the jewellers endeavour to release the jewel's emotion
which will suscitate a |
| dream for
the eyes. |
| It is at
the end of his vocational training, that John Darbellay received from the hands of
the Mayor |
| of Geneva,
the first prize of jewellery 1981. |
|
| The
collaboration of Alain with important international jewellers gave him
access to the higher realms |
| of the
trade. |
